Review: ‘Yarn’: And You Thought It Was Just for Knitting Mittens – The New York Times

You have almost certainly never seen a better documentary about yarn than “Yarn.” It isn’t perfect — it’s a little too airy and artsy in spots — but still, thread and string should be jealous. The film, by Una Lorenzen, should really be called “Yarn and the Artists Who Love It,” because it’s not so much about the fiber as it is about what some creative people are doing with it. Anyone see this? I’d love to know what you thought of it or the whole idea of the movie.
