2015 in review

The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog. Needless-to-say, this was not a stunning year for blogging here at The School for Wayward Skeins and I am not going to make any wild resolutions that there’ll be a lot more posts written in 2016. When I start knitting more, then that will be the natural outcome. Have a wonderful year and may your needles always be at hand and your stashes full. Onward knitters!

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 8,600 times in 2015. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 3 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

  1. Hi,

I know how hectic things are for all of us, but…

I’m helping a patient at a psychiatric hospital near Boston and she’d like to to knit your yarmulke for her four-year-old nephew.. Would it be possible for you to tell me approximately how many stitches to cast,on, with what size needles and yarn,. I also would need to know when to start decreasing.

Thank you very much, in advance, for your help.

    1. Hi Marcia, you’re welcome to grab and print for her the one-size-fits-all kippah pattern from my FREE PATTERNS page. Alternately you can log in to Ravelry and download it there. Let me know if you run into any trouble with downloading it.
